Bio

Nancy Lendrim is Principal Harpist of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music, she was a student of Alice Chalifoux. Nancy has also performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, North Carolina Opera and the Atlanta Symphony. Each summer, she is harpist for the MostArts Festival in Alfred, NY.

Nancy and Jody Guinn formed the Salzedo Harp Duo in 2000, and performed at the AHS National Conference in Dearborn, Michigan and at World Harp Congresses in Geneva and Amsterdam. The duo’s third CD on the Azica label, Clair de Noel, was released in 2019. For 14 years, Nancy collaborated with Elizabeth Hainen as Director of Harp Ensembles for the Saratoga Harp Colony and Curtis Summerfest. In addition to this year, she has been a past adjudicator for YAHS and a preliminary judge for the USA International Harp Competition. Nancy is a former Regional Director for the American Harp Society. She maintains a private studio, is on the faculty of the Toledo School for the Arts, and coordinates a public school program of harp students in the fifth through twelfth grades. Recent master classes have included the University of Michigan and Tanglewood.
