Update: April 3, 2020

Dear Friends:

We are deeply disappointed to let you know that due to the ongoing development of the COVID-19 health crisis, we are canceling the 2020 Young Artist’s Harp Seminar and Preparatory Division on site programs and concert series. Our decision came after learning that Kenyon College made the difficult decision to cancel  all summer programs this year.

If you have already applied to the 2020 YAHS or Prep programs, all tuition and fees will be fully refundable and we will be in touch over the coming days to facilitate this. All students accepted to YAHS 2020 will be automatically accepted to YAHS 2021.

Unfortunately the cancelation of YAHS also means the cancelation of our Young Artist’s Harp Competition. However, we know that many of you have been preparing for the competition all year, so we will continue to hold our preliminary video round with the same entry deadline of May 1. Select jury members and YAHS faculty will provide comments and feedback. Plans are also underway for a virtual concert featuring our guest artist Judy Loman.

We sincerely appreciate your support of the YAHS program. We are sad that we will not be able to work with you in person this summer, but we know that the health and safety of all is of the utmost importance.

Sincerely

—Kimberly Rowe, Susan Brady, and the YAHS team
