Congratulations to Caroline Cole who recently won the Canada Council for the Arts prestigious Virginia Parker Prize of $25,000. The prize—established in 1982—is awarded annually to a Canadian classical musician under the age of 32 who demonstrates outstanding talent and musicianship.

Caroline first came to YAHS as a high-school student in 2005; she returned later as a Counselor/Apprentice and has twice served on our faculty as a teaching Assistant. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she studied with YAHS Guest Artist Judy Loman, and also of Juilliard, where she studied with Nancy Allen.
